Prashant “PK” Kothari –

As CEO, Prashant provides overall direction and strategy with a specific focus on global marketing and client relationship management. He is a well-known expert on offshore outsourcing, and has spoken about this at several industry conferences, including the Mortgage Bankers Association, American Land TitleAssociation, Real Estate Services Providers Council, Inc. and State Land Title Association meetings. He has also given briefings on this subject to congressional staffers on the Hill, National Press Club in Washington, DC and at other forums in the United States.

Prior to founding String, Prashant worked for 13 years within the American mortgage industry in various roles – on Wall Street’s #1 mortgage trading desk and in the Office of the President at Freddie Mac.
|
He started his professional career in the diamond and jewelry business and set up India’s first modern jewelry manufacturing factory back in 1988. Little-known factoid: A handful of families from Prashant's home town manage about 80% of the wholesale diamond trade, globally. |

| From his base in Washington, DC, Prashant has been a leading advocate for offshore outsourcing, both in his writing and through his participation in conferences and seminars. |

Prashant’s passion, apart from String, is teaching. He has taught or spoken at American University's Kogod School of Business, the University of Virginia, the University of Madras and at the Great Lakes School of Management. He is also an amateur economist and writer, and a founder of the #1 blog on the Indian Economy (www.indianeconomy.org). |

| Prashant received his undergraduate degree from Loyola College, Chennai where he was voted the Most Outstanding Student of his class and an MBA from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA. He has also done graduate work in math & statistics at George Mason University. |

Shrinivas “Shrini” Gopalan –
Senior Vice

Shrini's responsibilities include management of String’s overall offshore operations with an additional focus on strategic planning and new business development.
Prior to this position, Shrini was Head of Operations, responsible for customer satisfaction, operational efficiencies and transition/migration management.

|
|
Before String, Shrini was a desk head for research and analytics in a large and renowned back-office firm where he worked with few of the top Wall Street brokerage
firms.
|
|
|
Shrini believes that management is all about people management, a belief reiterated by the “Manager of the Year” award he bagged from one of his previous stints.
|
|
|
Shrini has bachelors in commerce and an MBA with a post grad diploma in Journalism in between. An avid reader, he picks his cues from Jack Welch and Peter Drucker.
